About Us

The roots of LULLA CLASSES go back more than six decades, to a family in which education became both a means of rebuilding life and a way of serving others.

Following Partition, Dr. B. P. Lulla, still in his teens, became deeply convinced that education was the way forward. While pursuing higher education himself, he encouraged and supported his younger brothers and sisters to study and build their futures through learning.

That belief went on to shape an extraordinary educational tradition within the family. His younger brother, Prof. H. P. Lulla, fondly remembered by generations of students as “Lulla Sir,” carried this tradition into teaching and laid the foundations of what became known as Lulla Classes. His sister, Dr. T. P. Lulla, devoted her career to higher education, while another younger brother, Dr. Kamlesh P. Lulla, went on to an eminent scientific career at NASA.

Dev Lulla Sir entered this educational journey in the 1990s and has now spent nearly three decades carrying the tradition forward through Dev Lulla Sir’s LULLA CLASSES — with an emphasis on conceptual learning, personal attention, ethical educational practices and mentorship beyond the classroom.

Across generations, one belief has remained constant: Education has the power to transform lives.
